Baby Dedication

Yesterday, Sunday June 22nd the boys were dedicated at church. It was such a special day for all of us. Jack & Elijah were dedicated at Westmore Church of God, where we attend church.

The day started at 8:30am with a special ceremony with our friend & Children’s Pastor, Jonathan Simmons. He talked about the Biblical background of dedicating children to the Lord & the significance of the meaning of the boys’ names. Here are the meanings of their names:

Jack “God is Gracious” Isaiah “God is salvation”

Elijah “My God is the Lord” Cade “Gentle”

The church gave the boys their first Bibles. They also gave us plaques with their names, the meanings and scriptures with the meanings in it. They also gave me a rose on behalf of each of the boys. It was very nice.

The day was also extra special because we did their dedication with some of our close friends, The Annis Family. Their daughter, Delaney was born 3 days before the boys. Here is a picture of all of us.

Around 9:00am when the church service begin, they had us go up to the front with our families. Pastor Page & the church family stood to pray with us over the boys, dedicating them to the Lord. Here are a couple of pictures.

It was a busy day for the boys but they did great! They were in really great moods and very cooperative. Good job boys!
