Now that fall is here, there are lots of new activities to do! Of course since we live in the Tennessee Volunteer state, most Saturdays involve watching the Vols play football! Here are some pictures of the boys sporting their UT outfits on game day. Go Vols!
Earlier this season we went to Apple Valley Orchards with Mom’s Group from our church. We got to see where they sort and wash all of the apples and where they make the cider. We also went on a hayride around the orchards. The boys loved going on the hayride…they said “apples” the entire time….yes, there were lots of apples…
We also visited Mayfield’s Farm in Athens with our friends Jeremy, Ruth & Isaac. They have a corn maze & pumpkin patch and lots of other activities for children to enjoy. They got to play in a sand box & corn box, climb on tractor tires, ride the cow train and of course go on a hay ride! Somehow I ended up in the cow train because Eli didn’t want to go by himself. I have to say though….it was pretty awesome! Thanks for the free ride Eli!
With all the nice weather lately, we have visited the park & had a picnic a few times. The boys think it is so much fun! They sit on the blanket & make a mess while they eat & Mommy doesn’t even care! It’s great! Here are a few pictures from one of our picnics.
Of course Halloween is one of our favorite fall activities. Kids in costumes are the cutest thing ever! This year we decided to go with a Star Wars theme. Jack was Wicket the Ewok & Eli was Yoda. May the force be with you!
And of course you have the cheapest fall activity of all- raking leaves & jumping in them! Here are a couple of pictures of the boys playing in the leaves up at their great-great Grandma’s house. They had good intentions of helping rake…
All of these pictures & more can be seen under the “Pictures” tab in a new slideshow. Enjoy!
